Harvesting Ocean Wave Energy to Power Up Desalination Plants and Civilizations

As water becomes more scarce and the human populations demanding it grow in greater numbers we will not be able to run our Hydro-Electric Power Plants at full capacity due to low water levels. Additionally it appears that the human race is making a huge effort to limit our CO2 output to clean the air. Thus two of the biggest problems will be generating energy without polluting and fresh water supplies.

Well then what if we design a system, which can clean the water thru desalination and operate by generating under its own power with clean renewable energy? In fact if you put an Ocean Wave Energy Harvesting unit near a Desalination Plant you could run that too with the excess energy generated. This could well be a triple win for civilization.

And as one Online Think Tank recently pointed out that their thoughts are the waves are much bigger on the Pacific Side and unless the Moon flies away, the waves will be here for another 5 Billion years until the Sun expands and by then we will have mastered all the secrets of energy? Even still the waves in the Atlantic are plenty big enough as well.

The Think Tank believes that getting multiple efficiencies thru such a unique way to make energy makes so much sense, good point on the H20 separation to get to the hydrogen, I concur. Indeed in studying the various designs for ocean wave renewable energy generation we choose the Fieldstone Design

as our first option for such an infrastructure project. It makes sense really to be thinking here. Perhaps this article is of value in 2007 and beyond?
